The Outdoor Partnership is a community partnership charitable company, changing lives through outdoor activities and inspiring local people to become involved in outdoor activities through participation, education, volunteering, and employment to improve health, social and economic well-being.

If you wish to have your say on policy and best practice and want to help raise the profile of outdoor activity opportunities in your area then you can join the Outdoor Partnership.

If you are a member of a community club looking for coach education support, please talk to your club about your club affiliation.

Some clubs at some points have a need to train volunteers to support the activities of the club. We can subsidise the costs for volunteers in your club to attend certain courses to help with their role in the club. To access this support you need to Affiliate with Coach Education support. If you take up this option there is a fee of £150 per year.

If you take this option, your club will be guaranteed £500 worth of support within the year affiliation period (April to March). Any requests over this amount will be subject to available funds. Clubs will need to prioritise their requests, based on the club needs.

Stakeholder Membership

Stakeholder membership is open to individuals / organisations that share the vision and mission of the Outdoor Partnership.

Stakeholder members will receive regular updates regarding the operation of the partnership and an invitation to attend two stakeholder meetings a year plus the Annual General Meeting.

Stakeholder members may also nominate / elect representatives to sit on the Board of Trustees of the charity.

Applications for stakeholder membership will be considered at the biannual meetings of the stakeholder group and The Outdoor Partnership reserves the right to refuse applications.

Honorary Membership

Honorary Membership is open to individuals who have demonstrated a long-term and significant contribution to The Outdoor Partnership.

Applications are invited in the form of a  letter of nomination justifying the award of Honorary Membership, sent to the Chief Executive and will be considered by the Trustee Board at their next appropriate meeting.
