| Stiniog Outdoor Activities weekend! |
August 23rd - 24th 2008 - Blaenau Ffestiniog
The weekend's activities include a walk to the lakes, climbing taster session, a day on the Moelwynion, fishing competition, nature and geology walk, kayaking/canoeing taster sessions with the paddling club, Clwb Padlo Blaenau, historical town walk.

| CLUB PROFILE - Dyffryn Conwy Mountain Bike Club |
Over the last two years the club has organised a number of activities, from Trailquest competitions, to skills development sessions, bike maintenance sessions and women only rides. Club members also spent five days riding off-road from Conwy to Swansea to raise money for St Davids Hospice and North Wales Air Ambulance.

A day of activities in a beautiful location for families and beginners to develop mountain biking skills. Bikes will be available to hire from Beddgelert Bikes, there will also be camping available in the forest.

| Canoeing session for Youngsters with Disabilities |
Saturday 16th August, 2008
The North West Wales Outdoor Partnership and Disability Sport Wales are organising canoeing session for youngsters with disabilities. The activities will be taking place this summer for residents of North West Wales. Meeting at Glanllyn, Bala, ages 8 - 12, 9.30 - 13.00 / Ages 13 - 16, 13:30 - 5:00.

| Equipment grant for Outdoor Clubs |
Closing date for next round of applications is MONDAY 8th SEPTEMBER 2008!
Clwb Antur Stiniog, Clwb Antur Mon and Clwb Beicio Mynydd Dyffryn Conwy are the latest clubs to benefit from funding from the The North West Wales Outdoor Partnership (NWWOP), through the Sports Council for Wales. There is up to £5000 of capital funding available for new and existing NWWOP clubs!

This new 2 day training course covers the skills and leadership qualities needed to introduce and supervise novice climbers on typical
