​Inclusive Skiing and Climbing opportunities for Anglesey’s disabled young people.

Disability skiing lessons have been happening at Llandudno Ski Centre, and climbing at Indy Climbing Wall, Llanfair PG. Sessions have been funded by the Isle of Anglesey Activities for People with Disabilities Small Grants Fund.

Disability ski lessons have been running on  a Friday afternoon, with the Cymell day care centre taking part in a 10 week skiing course. 

10 adults with learning disabilities spend the afternoon at the centre, with support worker also joining in the weekly lesson. The group are progressing well.

Also young people from Ysgol Y Bont have been having indoor climbing session at the Indy Climbing Wall. 12 pupils from Ysgol Y Bont are taking part in weekly climbing session. The team of 12 are taking part in the North Wales Schools Bouldering Competitions.
